Woman feels 'let down' by disappointing marriage proposal

Not all marriage proposals can live up to the heady heights of our favourite rom-com, but they can certainly try. For Sarah, not only has her fiancé's proposal not played out the way she expected, but she says it was below average, and was left feeling "let down".

Sarah has written to the Talking Honey relationship series panel asking for advice on how to move on from the disappointment.

Married at First Sight's relationship expert John Aiken began by assuring Sarah that there are worse things than a bad marriage proposal and she should focus on the fact she at least knows "he's committed".

For Talking Honey host Shelly Horton and fellow panelists, 9Honey's Jane de Graaff and Jo Abi, it wasn't so simple.
