Kenneth Manzanares has pleaded not guilty to the 25 July murder of his wife, Kristy Manzanares, on board a cruise ship off the coast of Alaska.
The two Utah residents, both aged 39, were on board the Princess Cruises ship Emerald Princess on 25 July when security officers were called to the cabin they were sharing.
Court documents show that Kristy, a real-estate agent, had a "severe head wound" and there was blood splattered around the room on "multiple surfaces".
