Man shocked after discovering women and kids moved into his house

There are certain things you don't want to return home to. At the top of that list is a random family living in your house, wearing your clothes and making a mess.

A man from South Carolina has been left feeling "violated" when he returned home after a day at work to find a family of unwanted house guests making themselves at home.

Upon arriving at his home, Kent Foster told FOX Carolina that there was a dog he'd never seen before in his yard, furniture had been moved, someone had been smoking inside and a car seat was barricading his front door. After hearing a baby crying in the house, he immediately called police. 

Foster stood outside his house while the woman remained inside with the door shut until authorities arrived.

Once police arrived at the scene, a woman unknown to Foster, Savannah Rhinehart, allegedly told officers she lived there with her two children.

When she opens the door, the first thing she [Rhinehart] says is, 'Can I help you?' Yeah, the first thing you can do is leave my house," Foster told FOX Carolina.

To add to the ordeal, Foster noticed that Rhinehart had been wearing his wife's clothes. Food had also been eaten, the dog had urinated inside and the bath had been used.

"My mouth drops, she has all of [my wife's] clothes. Bedroom shoes, shirt, what she owned."

Rhinehart was eventually transported to a hospital to be evaluated. The mother has since been charged with child neglect, burglary, and petty larceny, People reported.

It's not clear how Rhinehart had entered the home.
