Married at First Sight 2019: Cam and Jules' audition tapes revealed

Cam and Jules have become Married at First Sight's most adorably loved-up couple this season, and it's so sweet to watch.

But what was it that landed them in the experiment in the first place?

Talking Married's Shelly Horton has unearthed some cheeky footage from the MAFS archives, when the potential couple were initially quizzed about their intentions for signing up.

In his video, Cam cited his frequent travel as a massive road block to love.

He also revealed that he's "always wanted to settle down and find the love of my life," sharing a sweet childhood memory in which he knew from a young age that he wanted to start a family.

"When I was a kid… we had a big, beautiful home. I just went, 'I can't wait to have this home, and have my own family. All I want to do is save up, have a white picket fence and family.'"

Aww! Too cute.

Wife Jules shared a similar sentiment, but took it a step further, revealing that her greatest fear is being alone, not having children and never getting married.

"I didn't think I'd be 36 and single," the business owner told producers.

"It is a fear that I really want to have a family and I don't want to miss that… It does get to me."

Jules has previously spoken about feeling left out around her friends and family members who have children. During the audition, she joked that she needs a stunt baby.

"In family photos, all the girls have their babies and I just grab a doll", she laughed.

The renowned hair and makeup artist, who once worked in London with the Royal Family, acknowledged that while she's had some pretty incredible experiences, being a wife and mother is her preferred next frontier.

"I've had an amazing life. I've had some awesome experiences, travelled the world and done a lot of great things, but this is the one thing I'm yet to do."
