The 'racy' new job reserved for couples in coronavirus: '$500 for 10 hours work'

They said the job market would be forever changed by coronavirus, and it seems one company is leading the charge.

British lingerie brand Pour Moi has announced a rare position specifically for couples looking to make a career move.

However, this is no typical foray into the world of fashion or retail.

The inclusive swim, evening and sleepwear brand is searching for a couple to review their lingerie line.

Offering $50 an hour to the successful candidates, the brand has said one partner will be required to wear the garments and jointly "provide feedback" on whether the set adds to "the mood".

The couple will be required to "work" for 10 hours in total, analysing the "seductive power" of the brand's garments.

The month-long freelance job will see partners walk away with the reviewed garments and $500 in their pockets to splash "for a special date night or romantic break."

In a statement, Pour Moi founder Michael Thomson said the company was "passionate about helping our customers feel as sexy and as confident as possible."

"First-hand feedback from a couple who have used our lingerie 'in-situ' will be incredibly useful for future designs," he added.

The brand, regularly worn by social media stars from Love Island and and Geordie Shore, will give "three sets" of their lounge wear line to the successful candidate.

"The maximum amount you and your partner will win is $500, which will be paid on satisfactory completion of the feedback survey," the site claims.

In the spirit of the times, the chosen couple will also be required to "work from home" when it comes to reviewing the items.

Like every job application, Pour Moi is asking couples to detail why they would be "suitable" for the role in less than five sentences.

Unfortunately for lingerie lovers, the role is yet another example of unstable employment surfacing in the pandemic, only on offer for a month.
