Sydney was only on-screen for a few seconds during the Tyson/Paul fight but millions of eyes are on her now
Sydney Thomas only appeared on TV screens around the world for a few seconds last weekend but she's already become a viral sensation.
The 20-year-old ring girl was front and centre during the hotly anticipated boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul on November 15.
Dressed in an eye-catching black and red outfit, Thomas caught the attention of millions of fans that tuned into the historic match — as well as the eyes of a few big-name celebrities in the audience.

Thomas gained more than 250,000 Instagram followers in the two days after the fight was televised and, at the time of writing, has more than 633,000 people following her on that platform alone.
Now she claims her social media accounts have been flooded with DMs from celebs wanting to get to know her and brands hoping to work with her as her online fame skyrockets.
"There's definitely been some pretty big names and brands that have reached out," Thomas told Us Weekly, but declined to name any of the celebs for "privacy reasons".
The 20-year-old admitted she was shocked when she woke up the day after the Tyson/Paul fight and saw how many new followers she had.

She said she was "overwhelmed" by the sudden spike in attention but was grateful for the exposure the match, which was streamed on Netflix, gave her.
"I had no idea that all the focus was going to shift from the results to the ring girl being the main star of the event. That was not even a thought in my head going into it," Thomas confessed.
She told the outlet she plans to keep working with Paul's Most Valuable Promotions as a ring girl and focus on her modelling while all eyes are on her.

On the day of the match, Thomas posed multiple photos and videos to Instagram sharing her excitement. At the time, she had no clue it would make her famous.
"Words can't describe this moment or how grateful I am to be part of such an amazing team at @MostValuablePromotions," she captioned one snap after the match.
"History was made, and I'm truly honored to have been a part of it."
