'I feel personally attacked': Sister exposes fake Instagram shot

A sister has exposed her sibling's Instagram fakery in a hilarious tweet that has now gone viral.

Casey Sosnowski shared a behind-the-scenes shot of her sister, Carly, posing for a social media snap that was later shared with the caption, "Nature is the ultimate healer to all our problems".

But the carefully staged shot was just that - staged - with Casey posting the reality to her 1500 followers.

"My sister said she was going hiking.....this is our backyard," she wrote.

The tweet quickly went viral, being shared over 40,000 times and liked by more than 270,000 different accounts.

The subject of the joke, Carly, took it all with good humour and even retweeted it herself, before sliding into her sister's mentions.

"I feel personally attacked," she responded, before Casey replied "how was your hike?"

Carly was quick to fire back - "invigorating" - with her sibling adding "Good thing you brought your water bottle to stay hydrated".

She included several laughing face emojis for good measure.

The tweet has had such a response that Casey has now made her Instagram page private after outlets all around the world started covering the story.

"I thought it was funny. I'm a pretty chill person overall so it didn't bother me, and then it blew up and I was like 'whoa'," she told INSIDER in an interview.
