How Meghan plans to be an 'unconventional' royal mum

Meghan Markle plans to do things differently to royal mums who've come before her when her first child arrives in the coming weeks.

The Duchess of Sussex, 37, has said she doesn't want help with the baby following their arrival in late-April.

A friend of Meghan, 37, has toldNew! magazine the mum-to-be doesn't want "a team of nannies" waiting to help her.

"She is determined not to do things the conventional way," the friend said.

"Meghan's already told Palace chiefs that she and Harry want to be hands-on parents.

“She doesn't want a team of nannies, which is unheard of for a new mum in the royal household.

Man who swaps sides of the bed with partner every night baffled by response

In practically every relationship there's an unspoken understanding about which side of the bed belongs to whom.

For example, my boyfriend knows that I prefer the side furthest from the door and will fight tooth and nail if he ever tries to take it from me.

But one rogue man has sent the internet into meltdown after revealing that he and his partner, god help us all, swap sides.

You read that correctly – Steve O'Rourke and his partner, Amy, regularly switch the side of the bed they sleep on.

"We were just chatting in work and apparently it's weird that Amy and I don't sleep on the same side of the bed every night," O'Rourke tweeted on Friday.

Mum gives birth to six babies in nine minutes

A Texas woman has successfully given birth to a whopping six babies, in just nine minutes.

Houston mum Thelma Chiaka went into labour at 4:50am on March 15, and by 4:59am had welcomed two sets of twin boys and one set of twin girls.

The news was confirmed in a statement released by The Woman's Hospital of Texas, which also shared a picture of the happy mum in her hospital bed.

According to the statement, the babies – ranging in weight from 540 grams to 970 grams -- are in a stable condition.

“They will continue to receive care in the hospital’s advanced neonatal intensive care unit,” it continues.
