Hate ironing? Here are five simple hacks to remove creases and wrinkles without an iron

Nadia Scurria

We all know someone who hates ironing. Maybe that's you!

Here at 9Honey Living, we've got you covered with five ways to remove creases from your clothes without having to use the iron.

1. Ice Cubes in the dryer

To de-wrinkle those clothes you can't be bothered ironing, all you have to do is throw three to four ice cubes in the dryer along with the wrinkled clothes and let it run for about 10 to 15 minutes.

The cubes will melt away, creating a moisture and steam effect among the clothes to leave them wrinkle free.

2. Hang them in the bathroom after a steamy shower

If you've got wrinkled clothes but just stepped out of a nice hot shower, this one is for you. Simply hang your creased clothes in the bathroom while it's still nice and steamy to de-crease those dresses.

3. DIY Ironing spray

According to stain removal and laundry expert Nicole Gibson from Soka Australia, all it takes is a DIY spray.

In a spray bottle add 500ml of water and 10 drops of lavender essential oil.

Or, if you're allergic to lavender, use water and vinegar by adding 1 part vinegar to three parts water in a spray bottle.

4. Use a kettle as a steamer

If you haven't got a steamer to steam the creases out of your clothes, it's certainly not a problem if you have a kettle.

All you have to do is boil the kettle and use the steam when it starts boiling to stem the clothes.

5. Use a damp towel

All you need to do for this one, is place your wrinkled clothing underneath some damp towels and gently press down and smooth out the creases. It's that simple.
