"I painted and glued a round piece of timber on top and now I have a high-end looking coffee table on my deck !"
Michelle is referring to these adhesive panels from the popular discount department store.
In the video, Michelle shows us an old looking, red vinyl ottoman; although it stills looks neat, it's not something we would see in today's design trends.

She then shows us the simple way to turn this old piece of furniture into a beautiful, modern minimalist side table.
By simply sticking the adhesive sheets to the sides of the ottoman, Michelle instantly transforms the look and the vibe of the piece, finishing it off by gluing on a round piece of white timber as the table top.
Commenters were stunned that such a simple hack could achieve such stunning results.
One viewer said, "Looks great! Is such a cool product," while another commented, "Another ripper project Michelle!!"
Some were a bit confused about where exactly they could source a round piece of timber, but one commenter came to the rescue with a perfect solution.
"😍😍😍ohhhh 👏👏👏you can also use a nice wooden round cutting board from Kmart or Bunnings," they said.
The finished product is a simplistic yet stunning coffee table. Instagram

It seems you may have to be quick though, as many Kmart stores are already showing that they are low in stock of the product.
Viewers even took to the comment of Michelle's video to share other ways the product can be used to improve your home.
"I am going to use this for some cupboard fronts," said one user.
At the time of publishing, the self-adhesive panels are still available at Kmart's online store. But make sure to be quick before they sell out!
