Cristiano Ronaldo recruits young son for adorable backyard abs workout

If you're not prepared for Real Madrid football star, world-class athlete and all-round Very Attractive Person Cristiano Renaldo to tear at your feeble heart strings, look away now.

His team's elimination from the Champions League seems to be the furthest thing from his mind as he hits the backyard for an abs workout (like he needs it) with his young son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, in tow.

Ronaldo senior is proud-as-punch of his mini-me, who also smashes out a fairly impressive set of sit-ups – with dad's encouragement, of course. Watch the video above to see their adorable exchange.

While the details around the identity of the younger Ronaldo's mother are murky, the 29-year-old soccer star welcomed the boy with what is believed to be a surrogate in the US in 2010. The tot lives full-time with the soccer star and his grandmother, Delores, in Spain.
