Chris Hemsworth's sweaty workout video will make you feel one of two things

Here's how you likely reacted to the shirtless workout video that Chris Hemsworth posted to Instagram late Saturday night:

"Whoa, what a beast — he's inspired me to get into the gym this week and kill it!"

Or:

"[Long string of pervy eyeballs emoji]!"

Or maybe both.

Viewed on Instagram 1.8 million times in a mere 12 hours, the video has sparked quite an, uh, intense reaction — at least judging by the thirsty comments on it (if this is the kind of stuff people are saying about it in public, god only knows what they're saying about it via private message).

Hemsworth's coach/bully is Luke Zocchi, whose Instagram profile modestly describes him as a "[personal trainer] to people you might know".

Zocchi practices "Twenty40 training": 40-minute sessions that blend cardiovascular, strength and agility exercises, essentially a form of high-intensity interval training (HIIT).

HIIT is super popular because its claim to be the fastest, most effective path to fitness (for both beginners and expert-level gymgoers) isn't just marketing spin. Hemsworth's workout is loaded with standard/torturous HIIT moves and equipment: bear crawls, battle ropes and the AirBike, aka the Worst Thing Ever Invented.

The effort is clearly paying off for the legendarily muscular Hemsworth. It's unlikely Karl Stefanovic is going to be the only one gawking googly-eyed at the video...
