Dog Chance was being babysat by Meghan Specksgoor’s dad while she went to New York for work - and to keep her up to speed with how he was doing, her father texted her… as Chance.
The hilarious results have since gone viral much to Meghan and her dad's surprise.

Meghan told website Bored Panda that her father and Chance got on well. "They usually get along great," she said.
"Chance is allowed to do whatever he wants with my dad - like an actual grandchild - and is given all sorts of treats the whole time he's with him."

She went on to tell the site that she got her four-legged friend from an animal shelter, adopting him from the Richmond Animal League (RAL) rescue centre when he was brought in after being shot.
"I walked into [there] with a friend of mine who was looking for a puppy," she said.
Meghan walked out with a completed application for 'Chap' - who she renamed Chance after her favourite rapper.
"We had surgery done to get a plate on his jaw and he has been perfect ever since," says Meghan.
