The parents of a four-year-old girl want their daughter’s former daycare centre shut down after they were sent a photo, allegedly showing she was “duct taped to a chair” when she was there.

Christian Evans and Elysha Brooks were horrified when they received the photo from Department of Children and Family Services Missouri, WBRCWBRC

They believe the photo was taken when she was a student at Little Learners of Florissant daycare but say they were never informed about the incident.

“I’m looking at a picture of my daughter duct taped to a chair, and her facial expression, I can just imagine how she felt,” Brooks told WRBC.

Evans added he wanted to see the daycare shut down and whoever was responsible put in jail.

“Seeing your child duct taped to a chair, seeing the anxiety, seeing how scared your kid is, knowing for one that you’re not there to protect them and knowing for two that you have people around that would stoop to that level to hurt your child puts you in a crazy mind state,” he said.

Brooks also warned other families to “double-check” on a daycare before leaving their children their, saying “I thought my daughter was safe”.

WBRC said the center did not respond to requests for a comment.
