The hilarious account taking on the ‘perfect world’ of Instagram

Thanks to an endless variety of filters and photo-editing apps, the quest for the perfect snap is only a swipe away in the virtual world.

We are all too familiar with the flawlessly edited photos of food, clothes, celebrities, houses and landscapes that dominate Instagram feeds everywhere.

However, amateur photographer, Geraldine West, is on a mission to ditch the filters and show off the ‘real’ side of the social media platform.

The German-native has created a series titled ‘Instagram vs. Reality’, a project that sees her take side-by-side pictures of herself that portray an everyday situation in real-life and what that scenario would look like on Instagram.

In the clip, the pair share a passionate (and hilarious) embrace which ends with the comedian climbing on top of the designer.
