If you had a big night out on Christmas Eve and are craving nothing more than a cheeseburger and cheeky hash brown, don't stress.

McDonald's has you covered, with a spokesperson for the fast food chain telling 9honey Kitchen "most" restaurants will be open Christmas Day!

A spokesperson for KFC tells 9honey Kitchen that a "selection of KFC restaurants across NSW, VIC, and SA will be open on Christmas Day."

They say that the best way to find out if your local restaurant will be open for business is to check the KFC website or call ahead.

Red Rooster

If you've burnt the roast and don't have time to make a new one, pray that you live close to a Red Rooster so you can duck down and grab a tasty roast chicken.

Majority of Red Rooster stores will be open on Christmas Day, however, some will be operating at reduced or modified trading hours.

You can check the exact times your local Red Rooster is open by heading to the locations section of their website.

Guzman Y Gomez

Christmas is going to be a sad day for majority of GYG lovers.

Unfortunately, most Guzman restaurants will be closed on Christmas, however a select handful will be open if you're really craving a burrito.
