'No one prepares you': Fiona Falkiner's heartbreaking post months after split from wife Hayley Willis
Fiona Falkiner has shared a heartbreaking post months after her split from sports presenter Hayley Willis, with whom she shares two sons.
Falkiner, a model and former host of The Biggest Loser Australia, announced their split back in October and has since been navigating the challenge of spending time away from her boys as she and her ex-wife share custody.
It's an experience Falkiner, 42, says "aches in a way words can't quite explain".

"No one prepares you for how hard it is to be away from your kids when your life has always revolved around them," Falkiner wrote in a post to Instagram this morning as she travels from Melbourne to Sydney to reunite with Hunter, four, and Spencer, three.
"The days without work or distraction can leave you feeling empty and questioning yourself," she continued.
"Not being there to cuddle them and kiss them goodnight can ache in a way words can't quite explain."
Falkiner voiced her support for those who are going through a similar experience.

"If this is your first time walking this path, I see you – and I feel your pain. One day at a time," she wrote.
Falkiner shared the news of her split from Willis in a statement posted to her Instagram stories back in October.
"Hayley and I have made the extremely tough call to separate," she wrote.
"Our priority will always be the wellbeing and happiness of our two boys, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect.

"We ask for privacy as we navigate this next chapter."
The couple welcomed their two sons within 18 months of each other.
Falkiner gave birth to Hunter in March 2021, while Willis gave birth to Spencer in August 2022.
They first met on Instagram when Willis messaged Falkiner and asked her out for a drink.
Their first date took place in October 2018 and their relationship developed quickly from then.
"We literally were inseparable for the whole summer, and spent every moment together," Willis told nine.com.au.
"I started thinking, 'You know what? I want this for the rest of my life'."
After a proposal on a Vanuatu holiday, the couple married in Byron Bay in October 2022.
