Victoria Beckham addresses iconic matching outfits with David: 'Seemed like a good idea at the time'
In the early years of their relationship, Victoria and David Beckham were iconic for their matching fashion moments.
Earlier this week, Victoria, 46, chatted to Jimmy Fallon about the couple's early in-sync style on The Tonight Show, joking that they had simply been 'naive' about fashion at the time.
"We didn't do it that much but every time we did, it was very well-documented and will just not leave me alone, let me tell you," the fashion designer explained.

"It just seemed like a really good idea at the time, you know? It really did.
"I think it was a naivety then. We didn't know about fashion. We were just having fun with it, which, to be honest with you, is kind of the way it should be."
The pair had many-a-matching moment, from the head-to-toe leather suits they wore in 1999, to the all-purple outfits the pair wore at their wedding reception the same year — all of which Victoria looks back on with love.

"I really wish I had the courage to do it more now," she said to Fallon.
"I suppose the more that you get to know the industry and the older that you get, you know, the less naive. I mean we didn't know, we didn't care. We just had fun and we were like, 'Hey, let's wear matching leather.' And we did."

Earlier this year, David also looked back on the couple's iconic matching outfits.
In a post shared for their wedding anniversary, the former Football star captioned the image, "22 years later, still matching outfits 😂," he captioned his Instagram tribute. "Happy anniversary love u so much and thank you for giving me our amazing kids so we can all wear the same 😂 @victoriabeckham ❤️❤️ @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven ❤️❤️."
