The tale of one dress: Taylor Swift vs Andreja Pejic

Taylor Swift hit the Vanity Fair Oscars after party in an Alexandre Vauthier high-slit, plunging neckline dress. Accessorised with a gold clutch and heels, the gown was equal parts glamour and va-va-voom sexy.

As Taylor mingled with #squad members Lorde, Selena Gomez and Karlie Kloss, the pop star was unaware that across town, transgender model Andreja Pejic was wearing exactly the same dress.

At Elton John's viewing party, the Australian-raised Pejic was putting her own spin on the gown, teaming it with black pumps and slicked back hair.

Swift, had, however, styled the neckline differently, proving that one dress can have many different lives.
