"You can't go wrong with oversized sunglasses," says McMillan, about the trend that's bigger than ever.

As for a top pick, McMillan says Easten is a customer favourite. "We have added a polished black acetate model with a gradient grey tint for a glamorous look. Great for weddings, the races or other formal occasions," she says.

Trend #2: Modern

Protect your eyes in style with a pair of cutting-edge shades. "Street-casual trends are great for the beach, outdoor activities or while soaking up the summer sun in the local beer garden," says McMillan.

"For example, our new Cullen frames are a modern unisex design."

Trend #3: Colourful

Like to stand out from the shade-wearing crowd? "Everyone should own a versatile frame for any occasion, but why not pop a little colour into your everyday?" suggests McMillan.
