The beauty collection for anyone who has ever dreamed of being a Jedi

Back in August, beauty lovers and sci-fi fans alike geeked out (and rightly so) over the news that CoverGirl and Max Factor were partnering with Disney to create cosmetics inspired by Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

As part of the release, P&G’s global creative director make-up artist Pat McGrath was tasked with creating six exclusive looks, using both new and existing products, that explored the overarching Star Wars theme of light vs dark.

Now, just in time for Halloween, all six looks have been revealed. Time to decide which side you're on...

Jedi

As the Jedi character lives on a desert planet McGrath "designed this look to incorporate earth and sand tones." In order to create the illusion of bouncing light, McGrath applied a light touch of eyeshadow on the cupid’s bow and bottom lip before applying lipstick.

Dark Apprentice

"This look is all about black with pops of red on the eye and lip," says McGrath who recommends choosing either a strong eye or bold lip when wearing the look in the day.

Inspired by C-3PO, this make-up look is all gold eyes and lips. “Metallics are popular again this season,” says McGrath, “[so] take some risks and have fun”.

Chrome

“Chrome is a strong female commander, so I wanted to create a very foreboding, authoritarian look,” says McGrath.

Mystic

"Mystic is the forest dweller, so the choice of iridescent eyes and lilac lips give her a futuristic yet ethereal, magical look,” she says.

Stormtrooper

"The Stormtrooper is a soldier, so this make-up look is intercut with a strong, graphic eye," says McGrath. "[The make-up] is structured with a very dark-berry lip.”

Along with the looks, Covergirl will be releasing two limited-edition products; Super Sizer Mascara in Very Black (you can choose between five Star Wars quotes like "I Will Finish What You Started" and "There Has Been An Awakening" on the packaging) and Colourlicious Lipstick (available in gold, red, silver and nude). Both hit stores November 1.
