Temporary tattoos that smell

Temporary tattoos are having a serious style renaissance – and the latest in stick-on statements will have you looking and smelling your very best.

American tattoo brand Tattly have created a line of temporary tattoos based on the floral watercolour illustrations of French artist Vincent Jeannerot. And they smell just like real-life flowers.

Blue hydrangeas, purple sage and pink peonies are just some of the flowery designs available, featuring the distinct smell of each individual flower, and are designed to adorn your body for an eye-catching and inventive beauty look.

The sweet-smelling tattoos are only available to purchase online and come in a set of eight stick-on designs. They're applied like a regular temporary tattoo that last between two and four days.

Tattly’s founder Tina Roth Eisenberg fell in love with Vincent’s watercolour paintings after seeing them on Instagram, and decided to reach out to the artist to pitch the collaboration.

The pair then enlisted the help of perfumery Agilex Fragrance to create an accompanying scent for the tattoos.

"We started working with Agilex fragrance house, and they were so kind to experiment with us. Their designers were super excited to take a visual design and then try to interpret a scent for it. We launched it, and it was an incredible success. It seems like no one else is doing it," Tina told Teen VogueTeen Vogue

The perfumed designs are the only scented stickers currently available on the temporary tattoo market and have taken off on Pinterest and Instagram, where bloggers and ink-lovers have been using the delicate tattoos to provide a body art look they don’t have to commit to.
