Italian designers and Melania Trump supporters Dolce & Gabbana stuck to their preference for Instagram stars over traditional models with their menswear spring/summer ’18 show, enlisting the likes of Sistine and Sophia Stallone along with Pierce Brosnan’s son Dylan, Isabella Rossllini’s son Roberto and Marlon Brando’s grandson Tuki.

Australian models Jordan Barrett and Tom Farrelly might not have internationally famous parents but they do have awesome cheekbones and enough Instagram followers to make the cut.

Also in the line-up was Miley Cyrus’s brother Braison, earning praise from his famous sister, along with a gently dig at Dolce & Gabbana’s confusing politics.

“D&G, I STRONGLY disagree with your politics…. but I do support your company’s effort to celebrate young artists & give them the platform to shine their light for all to see!” Miley posted.

Perhaps Miley can purchase the edgiest offering from the kitschy collection of Dolce & Gabbana classics that failed to push any boundaries but were colourful enough for instant Insta-likes.

#Boycott T-shirts created by the brand in response to critics of their support of the Trumps, will be perfect for outspoken Miley.

Here’s hoping that next season it’s the clothes people are talking about.
