Freckles are having a fashion moment but it's no longer enough to have ordinary sun-kissed cheeks. Metallic freckles are the Midas-touch currently sought by those who find blush blase.

American beauty brand Mr. Kate Beauty Marks has given freckles a whole new look with their collection of metallic sparking stickers that are designed to resemble freckles on your face.
The stickers are delicate in appearance and come in different shapes and sizes from natural-looking tiny specks to bolder stickers that resembles stars and hearts.

The metallic designs are applied to your face like a temporary tattoo that last for 2-4 days, and are easily removed by using body oil to make them slide off your face.
So if you are wanting a makeup look that will stand out at a festival or costume party you can apply the spots with a colorful eye shadow, thick mascara and bold lip to give you a disco-ready finish.
Alternatively you can use the freckles more sparingly and apply them on your face with a dewy highlighter and glossy lip to give you an illuminated and glowing beauty look.

If you are not yet convinced, cosmetics company Beauty Blender put metallic freckles to the test with a model using them to highlight and contour her face in a Youtube tutorial that has gained over 500 views so far.
