Gigi Hadid's bright blonde comeback

Supermodel Gigi Hadid lit up the sidewalks of Manhattan in a golden haze earlier this week as she returned to her signature hair look-a head full of bright, blonde locks.

The Victoria’s Secret angel stepped out in the Big Apple with freshly-lightened locks that had been cut into soft, face-framing layers – a refreshing change from the dirty-blonde shade she has rocked for the last few months.

Gigi furthered the look of her new hue with a high-voltage outfit consisting of a pair of bright-yellow aviator sunglasses and beaming Doc Marten boots.

A day later the model-of-the moment continued to show off her golden locks in a magnetic head-to-toe pink-leather outfit that transformed her into a modern-day Barbie.

Even though blonde hair is a synonymous with the 22-year-old as white sneakers and athleisure, Gigi hasn’t been afraid to embrace a complete hair overhaul in the past.

At this year’s Met Gala, the supermodel opted for a light mocha brown hair colour to match her beige Tommy Hilfiger gown.

In March last year, Gigi and dark-haired BFF Kendall Jenner swapped around their signature hair hues on the catwalk for French fashion house Balmain.

But Gigi’s return to her signature shade proves that you can make a major hair change while still staying in the same general colour family.
