Peach, watermelon, banana, apple and strawberry stickers in different shapes, colours and sizes are just some of the fruity concoctions that are giving manicured hands a tangy finish on Instagram.

Some nail-art lovers have decorated their fingers with just one type of fruit, whilst others have opted for a total 'fruit salad' look with a different fruit design adorning each individual finger.

This innovative nail look is a refreshing change from the usual dark and dramatic manicure choices we usually opt for in the cooler months and can easily be done at home.

You’ll need some clear nail polish to apply to your hands as a base coat. After your base coat has dried, apply a second coat of polish and then drop your chosen fruit of choice onto each nail and let them dry as you go.
