A permanent solution to pimples is coming
There are three certainties in life: taxes, death and acne. While the former isn’t going anywhere, the pitfalls of pimples may soon be a thing of the past due to the development of the world’s first acne vaccine.
The Journal of Investigative Dermatology have published a new study revealing that steps have been taken towards the development of a vaccine that will banish acne forever.

The vaccine, which if put into use would be the first of its kind, is designed to reduce the body’s inflammatory response to the toxins secreted by bacteria in the skin.
The vaccine has only been tested on mice and human-tissue samples, but "the potential impact of our findings is huge for the hundreds of millions of individuals suffering from acne,” Chun-Ming Huang, one of the lead researchers working on the vaccine, stated in a press release.

Dr. J. Matthew Knight spoke to FOX 35 News about why the vaccine would work in reverse to other anti-acne solutions.
"What this is does is take the idea of bacteria being bad and flips it over," told FOX 35.
"Most of the acne treatments we have like antibiotics or topical Benzoyl peroxide are meant to treat acne and the kill bacteria."
