Stacy Martin is the face of Miu Miu's first fragrance

We've been holding out for more on Miu Miu's foray into the world of fragrance since it was announced back in 2013, and the new details have us even more excited than before.

Actress Stacy Martin will front a Steven Meisel-shot campaign as the face of the fragrance, Miu Miu Eau De Parfum, which will be available from September. Martin starred in Lars Von Trier's two-part psychological thriller Nymphomaniac alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg, Uma Thurman and Shia LeBeouf. Described by the brand as "Miu Miu personified," Martin has previously appeared in Miu Miu's Fall 2014 RTW and eyewear campaigns. 

"What I like about Miu Miu is the relationship the brand has with cinema and art. They commission short films made by women, support artists and always find new ways to mix fashion with other spheres, making clothes part of the story," Martin told WWD.

While Miuccia Prada has established a number of scents under the Prada banner, this will be the first for Miu Miu, the fashion house's free-spirited younger sister. Partnering with the Prada Group is beauty giant Coty Inc, the brand behind the much-adored scents of Balenciaga, Chloé, Marc Jacobs and Bottega Veneta.

Keep an eye out for Martin on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet later this week when she appears to promote her latest film, Tale Of Tales, alongside Salma Hayek.
