Get Sophie Monk’s signature smoky eye
As matchmaker on Nine’s new hit show Love Island, Sophie Monk knows a thing or two about a sultry beauty look.
The former pop star is known for her perfectly blow-dried locks, bronzed glow and a high-voltage smokey eye.
But with most filming taking place in the day (and in the height of Spain’s summer) Monk opts for a softer eye makeup look on the show, using subtle bronzed shading that gives her that same dose of drama—but in a wearable way.
The best part? It can be done in under two minutes.
In the exclusive clip above, Monk and celebrity makeup artist Norman Gonzales - who has worked with the likes of Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Rebecca Maddern - takes HoneyStyle behind-the-scenes, to show us just how we can achieve the smokey eye for ourselves.
Using just two products -- an eyeliner from Marc Jacobs and an Hourglass eye shadow palette -- Gonzales starts by using the pencil to draw a thick line on the top of Monk’s eyelid.

He then uses a flat brush to smudge the product onto the lid. Before taking a thicker blending brush to apply a bronzed hue from the palette onto her eye.
"Smokey eyes can be any colour -- this one is the bronzed smokey eye" Gonzales advises.
Next, Gonzales blends the eye shadow around the crease of her lid to create a smouldering-effect.

The result? A sexy, striking eye look that packs a punch.
