Proenza Schouler has a perfume coming soon

Now you have the perfect thing to wear with your PS1 bag: a Proenza Schouler fragrance.

The label just announced it’s taking the plunge into the world of perfume by signing a deal with L’Oreal.

“We look forward to translating our visual aesthetic into the subtle and highly emotional world of scent,” said design duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez on Instagram.

Known for their rebellious, boundary-pushing spirit, we’re sure it won’t be a run-of-the-mill floral. We predict notes of leather, tobacco and spice.   

This is another big step in the label’s expansion from ready-to-wear - it launched a handbag collection in 2008 (with the PS1 bag becoming an instant classic) and a footwear range in 2012.
