Julia Roberts debuts a radical new hair colour

For Julia Roberts, the festive season means it’s the perfect time to play—at least when it comes to her mane.

Over the weekend, the Pretty Woman star made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live where she debuted an unexpected hair hue – bubble-gum pink.

Clad in a complementing blush power suit, the mother-of-three explained that she owes her new hair colour to Halloween.

"I was a flamingo," the actress explained to the late-night television host.

"It looks good and it actually matches your outfit perfectly! "replied Kimmel. "Did the outfit come first or did you match it to the hair?!"

"I don’t want to disclose all my secrets," joked Roberts.

The mother-of-one revealed that she dyed her hair herself, and that she expects it to last “for about 4-6 weeks”.

From the fiery auburn shade that made her America’s Sweetheart in the late ‘80s, to her blonde bob in 1996’s Stepmom, the Oscar-winner has never been afraid of testing out a new hair look.
