Recall any amazing beauty look that’s gone down the runway, and you can guarantee make-up artist Pat McGrath was behind it. Exhibit A: last week’s Prada show in Milan, where the gold-painted lips became the talk of social media.

Not only did McGrath execute the daring look, but she created the product behind it. And soon, you’ll be able to own it.

Say hello to Gold 001, the first-ever Pat McGrath-branded product. It’s a yellow-gold paint with a “highly malleable formula” containing flecks of glitter that can be used anywhere on the body, including on lips, eyes and skin.

To launch the paint, McGrath held court in Paris’ Jardins des Tuileries yesterday, giving complimentary golden makeovers to models, editors, stylists and beauty fans. Bella Hadid, Stella Maxwell , Imaan Hammam, Kris Jenner  and Jamie Bochert, were just some of the notable attendees.

Not only has the product been spotted on the recent Prada runway, but Kim Kardashian West wore the paint on a recent shoot for online make-up site Violet Grey.

The reality star-turned-fashion muse posed as Elizabeth Taylor’s Cleopatra as reimagined by McGrath. Kardashian West’s brows and eyes were covered in the golden pigment, a clear indication that your beauty bag will be getting the Midas touch this season.

Gold 001 will launch next month on McGrath’s upcoming website, Pat McGrath Labs and only 1000 will be available. The price point is still unknown – but fingers crossed it ships to Australia.

McGrath has been Procter & Gamble’s  global creative design director of make-up since 2004 and according to reports, she will remain in this position.

“We support her and wish her the best of luck in the launch of this limited-edition collection, and know she’ll keep working to bring to life easy, breezy beauty for Cover Girl and glamorous transformations for Max Factor,” said a P&G spokesperson.
