Nineties supermodels reunite to recreate iconic shots

For most people, a reunion means sitting next to an aunt as she regales the table with "hilarious" tales from your childhood or eating luke warm vol-au-vents in a chilly school hall with people you didn't like enough to add on Facebook.

If you're photographer Peter Lindbergh, however, it means re-assembling a dream team of the world's most beautiful women.

Lindbergh, who created some of fashion's most famous images, has brought his muses back together 20 years after turning them into household names.

"He [Lindbergh] really sees the beauty in a mature woman," says Cindy Crawford of the project.

In a video uploaded to the site Nowness, Lindbergh gives us a tantalising peek behind the scenes, which features Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Eva Hertzigova, Tatjana Patitz, Nadja Auermann and Karen Alexander exchanging the most glam catch up banter we've heard.
