The celebrity chef is known for her sense of style, but at the NGV Gala she went for an overhaul of her polished look, wearing her hair in a crimped bob and donning dark lipstick that matched her artful gown.

The tartan gown – by emerging Melbourne-based designer Jarrod Reid – featured puffed sleeves, eyelets down the front, and what looks like two cushions on top of each other at the hem, seemingly making it hard for the model to walk.

American actress Julia Fox attended Mlebourne's NGV Gala wearing a show-stopping look for the exhibition's opening.
The bestselling author wore a chain-mail-like outfit with tentacle-like details throughout the garment.
She accessorised with a pair of red heels that look like they are on stilts, and carried around a hand mirror with her - though this was all for good reason.
The bespoke outfit was inspired by Yayoi Kusama's Chandelier of Grief, with stylist Briana Andalore enlisting Melbourne-based label Catholic Guilt, and it's designer, founder Ella Jackson, to create the dress.
The garment took several hours to make and features thousands of tiny jump rings, as well as dozens of semi-precious stones, making it weigh over 10 kilograms - that's the weight of two bowling balls.
Kusama's Chandelier of Grief is in the form of her signature infinity mirror rooms, providing a head-spinning experience.
Fox paid homage to the piece with her own hand-held mirror.
