Burberry has a new logo
British luxury label, Burberry, have gone back to their roots with a new- look logo that first originated over a hundred years ago.
The storied fashion house has unveiled its first rebrand in almost twenty years, a slick symbolling that sees the interlocking initials of Burberry founder, Thomas Burberry, in white and orange colouring over a honeyed background.
" Peter I was at the archive yesterday - I have given the team a references to share with you. Some feel very contemporary, especially a logo from 1908 and a Thomas Burberry monogram, Riccardo," wrote Tisci.
The 62-year-old graphic designer has a resume to rival Tisci’s. He founded Factory Records in 1978 and was commissioned last year by Raf Simons to re-design Calvin Klein’s logo.

As the style set eagerly await Tisci’s first-full Burberry collection debut in September at London Fashion Week, the brand will also unveil a highly-anticipated, limited-edition collection with Vivienne Westwood at the end of this year.

The last time that Burberry went through an emblem change was in 1999, when the brand dropped the ‘S’ from its name.
