What to wear now

Stylist Molly King lives the life of dreams. Well, as far as people like us are concerned anyway. The Sydneysider spends her days scouring for fashion items for herself and her clients too and she's incredibly good at it. Anyone who works with her is guaranteed to look amazing. Not surprisingly, Molly is pretty damn chic herself too.

We wanted to know how she makes the fashion magic happen so we hit her with some serious style and beauty questions.

Here, she shares her thoughts on everything from jeans, 80's fashion and why she'll never be a Boho girl.

This season you’re going to wear … Track pants w/a leather jacket. 

You’ll carry … Portable phone charger. Lip balm. 

On your feet you’ll wear … Pointed black ankle boots with a heel – just spotted some great styles at Wittner and Witchery. 

If money was no object you’d definitely buy … Pretty much everything from Zimmerman!

Molly, here in a black jeans and white duster coat ensemble, knows how to whip an outfit together and in the best of ways.

For those watching their cash you’d recommend … Choosing retail stores that offer on trend pieces & gravitate to key basics that you can wear all season. Don't go buying an expensive leather jacket if you don't have the rest of the outfit. Seed and Witchery always have great basics.

Any trends you wish would go away? To be honest, I'm open to all trends. I find them all unique, I can't say I can list a sender.

Any that you’d love to master but so far haven’t? 80's Redux. Big shoulders & cinched waists could be a look I'd love to play with.

Your all-time favourite fashion muse? Currently it's Perneille Teisbaek.

Celebrity you adore? Kate Bosworth.

Beauty to me means … So much more than glamour.

My favourite outfit is … Jeans & a ribbed tee.  

Date night dressing means … Comfortably sexy.

Casual weekend dressing means … Active wear or boyfriend jeans! 

I feel most confident when I’m … Styling beautiful women, just like I will be doing on Westfield Fashion Weekend.

I look best when … I've blow-dried my hair! 

If I was brave enough I’d love to wear … A midriff top. 

When I look in the mirror I see … My style. 

The one style tip I wish more women would utilise … Quality.

If I could tell my 14-year-old self anything it would be … Stop trying to be bohemian. I really discovered my style over the years and I guess I was quite confused as a teenager. Not saying I don't love to switch it up.

If I could provide the world with one kernel of advice it would be … Know your limits, find your passion, don't ever let go of your treasures.
