This bride's unusual request shocked her bridesmaids

Meet Ines, she's a self-confessed outspoken legal assistant looking to find her soulmate in this season of Married at First Sight.

If you've been keeping up with the most talked about show in Australia right now, you'd have watched the 28-year-old's controversial start to her romance with Bronson, 34, a former stripper-turned-entrepreneur from Western Australia.

While her forward (to say the least) comments about her new groom have left Twitter in shock, there was another wedding detail we couldn't help but noticed that also had viewers talking.

As we watched the expectant bride hilariously prepare for her stroll down the aisle, it was the dresses she hand-picked for her two bridesmaids and long-time friends that had us doing a double take.

The black off-the-shoulder, long-sleeve mini dresses were a mix of tufts of tulle and sheer panels that were embellished with gold and white, umm, palm trees.

The surprising choice didn't go unnoticed by the bridesmaids who were first to comment on their matching attire.

"You're telling me you seriously love this dress?" Jess asks as Ines gets her final touch-ups in the makeup chair.

"Of course Ines would pick a witchy, goth, black mini dress with a glitter palm tree. Because everyone is wearing that for their bridesmaid dress," she continued.
