Matty 'J' Johnson and Laura Byrne finally said 'I Do' in a beautiful, long-awaited ceremony on New South Wales' South Coast on Friday, and a lot of thought was evidently put into the tiny details.

Byrne, 37, took to her Instagram Story in the days following her lavish wedding and shared some behind-the-scenes shots to clue fans in to what went on during the day.

She also gave fans a glimpse of her $15,000 custom wedding gown, which almost stole the show were it not for the couple's two adorable daughters acting as flower girls.

The mum duties never stop, even when you're getting ready to get married. Instagram

Byrne revealed that mum duties never stop, even when it's your special day. She shares a picture with her hair half-done, holding her daughter, two year old Marlie-Mae, who was glued to her mum like a "complimentary hot water bottle."

Byrne also prepped with a face mask for a hydrated base before starting the beautifying process.

Eventually, they got the show rolling, starting with hair and makeup by Byrne's "very good friends", hairdresser Christopher Hunter and makeup artist Cassandra Lusi.

The wedding party made their way to the ceremony, held at Cupitt's Estate in Ulladulla, in a Chrysler stretch limo, "Bachie style". The bride had an enormous smile on her face, which she says was "pretty much what [her] face looked like all day."

Her daughters rode with her in the limo sitting in car seats, with Byrne remarking, "Who would have thought you could fit car seats and 700 metres of tulle into a limo," in her Instagram Story.

Byrne's bridesmaids were all decked out in stunning yet simple grey slip dresses, while her daughters, Marlie-Mae and Lola, one, were wearing puffy white flower girl dresses, purchased from Princess Boutique Australia, ready to take on their very important role.

Among the flower girls and boys was the family dog, Buster. "They say never work with kids or animals...but I definintely think the more the merrier when it comes to weddings. It was wonderful chaos," she wrote over the top of a picture featuring the pup.

Byrne snuck a picture of her girls with their dad, Matty J, captioning the picture, "My whole heart".

Finally she revealed a full shot of her $15,000 "dress of [her] dreams" from KYHA studios.

Byrne originally picked the dress off the rack from KYHA Studios boutique at $8,000, before completely changing the style of the skirt.

The original had a sleek, form-fitting skirt with a high slit, but Byrne opted for a puffier skirt, closing the original slit and adding tulle underneath for volume before hemming the bottom so that it just touches the ground.

However, she did keep the sheer panel that showed off her midriff and her tattoos, as well as the off the shoulder detail on one sleeve, as seen in her Instagram post.
