Kim Kardashian West reveals her saddest Met Gala moment
Kim Kardashian West has become one of the Met Gala’s regular style standouts, ruling the red carpet in looks from Balmain, Versace and body-hugging Mugler at this year's "Camp: Notes on Fashion".
However, the Vogue covergirl didn't always ooze confidence on the steps of New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art, revealing on Instagram that she was brought to tears at the 2013 extravaganza.

The beauty mogul became the event's most talked about attendee, arriving on the arm of Kanye West in a floral gown designed by Givenchy's then-creative director, Riccardo Tisci.
"I was Kanye's plus one and so nervous! I didn't know anyone and I am sure no-one wanted me there lol," Kardashian West captioned an Instagram story that she shared with her 137 million followers.
"I went home and cried after of insecurity."
The flowery ensemble divided critics and spawned a thousand memes, mainly due its likeness to Robin Williams in the 1993 classic Mrs Doubtfire.
Insecurity aside, the reality star now calls the look one of her "faves," sharing a candid photo of herself dressed in the gown alongside her rapper husband.
By 2015, the mother-of-three had grown more confident, appearing at the extravaganza in an embellished gown by Roberto Cavalli.

"I had more of an opinion and collaborated so well," with Peter Dundas, who was the Italian brand’s creative director from 2015-2016.
