Surprising meaning behind Kendall's mouth tattoo

Kendall Jenner shocked fans when she rebelled against her good-girl image and went and got herself a lip tattoo in 2016.

And two years later, the supermodel has revealed the meaning behind her infamous ‘meow’ lip tattoo, or rather lack of meaning.

The Keeping up with the Kardashians star dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show and told the TV host that her visit to trendy NYC lip parlour West 4 Tattoo was a spur of the moment decision after too many drinks.

"I was drunk! I was not thinking clearly,” she shared. "It was literally the first thing that came to my mind. I don’t know, just my drunk thoughts. I feel like it would be a good place to put something..."

DeGeneres replied: "Of all the places to get a tattoo!" Jenner agreed: "In my face. In it."

Kendall added, that while it wasn’t her smartest move, it wasn’t a painful one.

"It's just, like, fattiness," she said. "I don't even know what this is. Is it muscle? Fat? Like, bone hurts really bad."

The 22 year-old then went on to show off her white tattoo fingers – a small dot and heart.

"All my friends have them," she said. "I was like, I just want to know what it feels like."

Jenner revealed on her app last year that she and BFF Hailey Baldwin have matching heart tattoos that they had done together, despite big sister Kim Kardashian not approving.

"Even though Kim always says, ‘Don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley,’ I really like tattoos. Right now I have two: They're both in white ink on my two middle fingers. The one on my right hand is a full heart to represent an angel and my left is a broken heart — kind of like the devil side. Hailey and I have matching ones on the left side but hers is red."

And this may not be the last ink we see from the runway regular, with Jenner admitting she's open to more.

"I definitely want more eventually, I just don't know what I would get right now. I don't have anything in mind. You'll just have to wait and see."
