Kate Ritchie gets real about baring all
Australia’s golden girl Kate Ritchie has come a long way since playing Sally Fletcher on Home & Away.
The actress has joined forces with iconic Australian underwear brand Jockey for their latest campaign, ‘She Wears the Pants’ starring the Nova co-host in her smalls - and totally rocking it.
The mum of three year-old Mae is fronting the new collection which celebrates a woman’s right to wear comfortable underwear, we’re talking bottoms that actually cover your behind and don’t ride up. Amen.

Ritchie chatted to HoneyStyle about all things underwear, body confidence and loving your post-baby body.
Firstly, you look smoking in the campaign! How did the collaboration with Jockey come about?
Thank you! Originally when I had the meeting with my team, I was a bit like “Ummm are they sure they want Kate Ritchie on board!” Perhaps they had made a terrible mistake! I was pleasantly surprised they hadn’t and then briefly allowed myself to feel flattered. Ultimately, I was excited to be a part of such a great campaign. Agreeing to do the campaign meant I was stepping outside that little box I can often trap myself in and I felt good about sending a positive message to women of looking and feeling confident no matter who you are or what you are wearing.
Was it confronting to get down to your underwear for a shoot like this?
If someone had said to me 12 months ago that I’d be the ambassador for Jockey underwear donning not much more than my knickers, and a t-shirt, I would have said that they were crazy! It’s never easy to bare all especially when you aren’t used to doing it all the time, so yes at times it was confronting but I knew why I was doing it and I just stayed focused on that.
