The Absolutely Fabulous movie secures all-star fashion cast
Kate Moss versus Patsy Stone may just be the fashion showdown we’ve all been waiting for – and we’re about to get it, according to Absolutely Fabulous creator Jennifer Saunders.
“I can confirm that Kate does have a part in the forthcoming movie,” she told The Mirror when asked about the Absolutely Fabulous feature.
"It's not yet decided whether she’ll have a speaking part or not, but she’ll definitely be in it. She’s a big fan of the show and we’re pals, so – aside from the fact she’s the definitive model - it was a no-brainer."
It’s not the first time Kate Moss has been up for a laugh. She appeared in Ab Fab’s 2012 Olympics special (above) and even more memorably, as self-declared “total slag” Katie Pollard in Little Britain’s comic relief stage show.
Moss is likely to be joined by a few other famous faces. The Telegraph UK is reporting that Kim Kardashian will film a part this month while in town for fashion week and that Victoria Beckham may also make an appearance.
The feature is slated for release next year and revolves around Patsy and Edina waking up hungover on the empty, drifting yacht of an oligarch in the middle of the ocean.
