Not all celebrity weddings involve pure white wedding gowns, a wall of roses and Beyoncé in attendance, as make up mogul Kat von D’s goth-themed wedding delightfully demonstrated on the weekend.

The founder of Kat Von D Beauty stayed true to her punk roots as she walked down the aisle in a crimson red wedding gown - complete with a matching veil and headpiece - to re-marry musician, Leafar Seyer.

The pair already tied the in February, but had yet to host an official celebration for family and friends.
"Still feeling the emotional electricity from our wedding last night with @prayers. We are spending today together reliving our vows, our beloved friends love, and all the artful beauty we created together," Von D posted on Instagram.
"I promise to share our epic wedding photos with you all soon as well as a bit more of our feelings about everything - as right now, we are both so overwhelmed with all the love"

The former tattoo artist’s choice of gown was in keeping with her love of retro, burlesque-inspired fashion. Designed by Los Angeles-based designer, Adolfo Sanchez, it featured a high collar, cape, full sleeves, elaborate ruffles and a dramatic train.

The pair started dating in 2005 and announced they’re expecting first child together, a boy, last month. Von D – who celebrated the 10th anniversary of her successful, cruelty-free beauty brand earlier this year- was previously married to tattoo artist Oliver Peck from 2003 to 2008. She also dated Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband, Jesse James, from 2011-2012.
