Ivanka Trump falling out of fashion
The fashion fallout from the election continues with confused customers losing interest in the clothing collection of Ivanka Trump, daughter of US President-elect Donald Trump.
New data from online shopping service ShopRunner says that interest in the Ivanka Trump brand has dropped by 54 per cent since the introduction of the #grabyourwallet boycott campaign, initiated by marketing consultant Shannon Coulter. Since launching the campaign, Coulter’s hashtag has reached more than 183 million people.
"What this boycott mean to me is that companies that I love, like Nordstrom and Amazon are making money from the Donald Trump campaign, which to me is synonymous with hate and divisiveness so Ican’t, in good faith, shop there anymore," Coulter told Racked.

“Women are having visceral reactions to seeing Ivanka Trump products in stores.”
The comprehensive list of companies on the #grabyourwallet boycott spreadsheet is filled with businesses associated with Ivanka’s brands, as well as People magazine which is seen as attempting to normalise Donald’s racist and misogynistic behaviour.
So far most major retailers are standing by Ivanka but Shoes.com announced on the weekend that it will no longer stock the Ivanka Trump shoe collection, which has already faced accusations of copying the work of other labels.
Meanwhile the First Daughter-in-waiting doesn’t seem too worried. In the 60 Minutes interview with her father Ivanka was asked whether the campaign had hurt the Trump brand.
"I don’t think it matters. [The presidency] is so much more important. And serious," Ivanka said.
Representatives at Ivanka Trump’s company seem equally optimistic. "Based on Q3 results, we expect to meet or exceed our projections for the year." Those projections probably include stacks of cash with the company reportedly generating more than $100 million in revenue in 2015.
