'Because 'I'm worth it'
Transgender actress Hari Nef has been revealed as the latest face of L'Oreal Paris.
The star of TV's Transparent (she plays the character Gittel) has appeared in the beauty house's bold new campaign for its True Match Foundation.

Hari, the first openly transgender model to be signed by IMG models in 2015, appears in an advertisement alongside a number of women (and one man) from various ethnic backgrounds. Each model also appears in a True Match Foundation video in which they discuss their unique skin needs and the reasons they enjoy the innovative new product.
The True Match Foundation ad stars Hari and a number of models from different cultural background plus a man making it the most diverse ever.
A tremendously proud Hari shared her video on her Twitter account.
She told her followers that while she hated her voice she was delighted to be included in the campaign, declaring it to be 'wild'.

The reaction to Hari's inclusion, and further, the campaign on the whole, has been hugely positive with Twitter declaring it a breakthrough.
One Twitter member using the handle @guybranum congratulated Hari for making history and thousands more followed suit.
The move to include a transgender model has delighted many, including us. More of it we say. Indeed, we look forward to the time when events such as these are so commonplace that they barely cause a ripple.
