Emma Watkins on her 'ballerina' designer wedding dress: 'So comfy, I nearly wore slippers'

Emma Watkins has appeared on Today Extra – in the middle of her honeymoon, no less – to spill some details on her super comfy ballerina-style wedding dress.

The former Wiggle , 32, tied the knot this week in a beautiful regional Victoria event that looked like something from a fairytale.

Speaking on the show, Watkins revealed the day was just as magical as it looked.

"It was nice, it was very small, very relaxed," she said.

The performer and her musician husband Oliver Brian, 33, made a handsome pair on the day, marrying in the small regional town of Tyrendarra.

Brian grew up near Warnnambool, so they decided Tyrendarra – just one hour away from where his family live – was the perfect spot to wed.

Conversation quickly switched to some more fashion-focused discussion, namely Watkins' gorgeous champagne-coloured gown.

The dress was designed by South Adelaide designer Paolo Sebastian, and Watkins says as soon as she spotted it, she fell in love.

"I tend to wear a lot of shirts with collars and buttons and when I saw the dress I was like 'That will be perfect," she says.

Of course, one of the selling points was a feature that fit the ballerina Wiggle from head to toe: "It had a beautiful ballerina-ry skirt," Watkins noted.

Speaking on how comfortable the dress was, she then shared a hilarious admission.

"Well, I almost wore slippers on the day. But I did wear flat shoes in the end, but you could've worn slippers with it, it was that comfy."
