Givenchy has a brand-new face and she comes with a whole lot of hair.

Pop icon and owner of the world’s most recognisable ponytail, Ariana Grande, has  been unveiled as the French fashion house’s newest ambassador.

Over the weekend, the luxury label hinted at the news, teasing black and white silhouettes of the singer’s extra-long ponytail with their 12. 8 million Instagram followers.

Finally, confirmation of Grande’s appointment came via a short clip of her dressed in a black cut-out dress – similar to the iconic gown worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s— and rocking a pearl headband around her ponytail.

“I am so proud to be the new face of Givenchy. It is a house I have forever admired, and to now be part of that family is such an honour,” she said in an official statement.

“I love this clothing and the confidence and joy it brings to the people wearing it. Not only is the clothing timeless and beautiful, but I’m proud to work with a brand that makes people feel celebrated for who they are, and unapologetic about whatever they want to be.”
