Samuel Johnston gets steamy

Samuel Johnston has hooked up with the spicy fragrance Azzaro Wanted and the campaign in which he stars is setting the internet alight.

The moody shoot, which sees the model and one-time Bachelorette contestant lounging in leather club chairs, is a little bit sophisticated and a whole lot sexy.

Samuel says the campaign resonated with him because it reflects his personality to a T.

"It’s a little bit cheeky, audacious and suggestive whilst not taking itself too seriously," he says with a grin. We could have left it there of course, but heck. When you get an opportunity to spend a few minutes with Samuel Johnston you take them so we hit him with a question or three. Here, his charming, funny, revealing answers.

Your new year beauty resolution is … wear more sunscreen, keep the skin healthy and away from sunspots and wrinkles 

Any beauty trends (male and female) you wish you would go away? I’m not the biggest fan of girls using too much Botox and fillers in their face – I prefer a more natural look.

Any that you’d love to master but so far haven’t? Man bun perhaps? Man tan?

Only a certain type of guy can pull off the man bun, could be something fun to try. Unfortunately I’m too impatient and don't like the awkward stage of my hair being mid-length.

What are your best tips for a flawless selfie?

Selfies ... hmm, I don’t think I’ve mastered the art, however, good lighting always helps.

Your all-time favourite beauty treatment is?

I don’t really have any beauty treatments, however my uncle is a dentist and he does whiten my teeth for me. For males, I think you can’t go past good everyday grooming and a great cologne. My scent of choice is definitely Azzaro Wanted.

Your all-time favourite muse?

The infamous Kanye West - never scared to express himself.

Cara Delevigne. She’s never scared to be herself and never scared to be a little weird.

My regular skincare regime looks pretty much like this …

I don’t have a skincare regime. Spending time in the sun and sea water keeps my skin pretty fresh.

I feel most confident when I’m … I’m looking good and smelling like Azzaro Wanted.

My hair looks best when it’s …

Been under my hat. When I get out of the shower I put my hat on so it dries like that. Love it!

When I look in the mirror I see … my big head.. 

The one makeup tip I wish more women would utilise … less is more.

If I could tell my 14-year-old self anything it would be … it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.
