15 dog crossbreeds you didn't know existed

There's no denying there's been a huge rise in canine crossbreeds over the years.

Last year, the cavoodle (a poodle crossed with a cavalier King Charles spaniel) was named Australia's most popular dog, overtaking the popular purebred golden retrievers and labradors.

In celebration of National Puppy Day (March 23), we'd like to introduce you to 15 doggy crossbreeds you might not have known existed!

Bernedoodle

This companion dog, a Bernese mountain dog crossed with a poodle, is clever, gentle and loyal - perfect for a family.

Bospin

A Bospin is a Boston terrier crossed with a miniature pinscher. They are typically very friendly and protective.

Cormation

This rare hybrid is a Dalmatian crossed with a corgi. They are active, intelligent and loyal.

Auggie

What do you get if you cross an Australian Shepherd with a corgi? An Auggie! They're typically friendly, energetic and playful.

Sheepadoodle

This fluffy pooch is a standard poodle mixed with an Old English sheepdog. The sheepadoodle is clever, high-energy and affectionate.

Goberian

The Goberian is a cross between a golden retriever and a Siberian husky. It inherits intelligence and a friendly nature from its parents.

Pomeagle

A Pomeagle is created by breeding a Pomeranian and a beagle. They're small and affectionate dogs, and curious by nature.

Schweenie

A Schweenie is half Shih Tzu and half dachshund. They're small dogs with big hearts.

Chug

This handsome little dog is a cross between a pug and a chihuahua.

Morkie
