The camera is designed to help owners keep an eye on their pets while they're out, and can even feed them treats during the day.

One day, while walking past the camera, Cuniberti didn't hear the usual alert noise the camera makes, but something else.

"When I was walking I heard a man's voice say 'Hey beautiful', and I basically...freaked out," she said.

"I thought somebody [had come] to my house, my dog started barking like crazy."

But then she realised the voice had actually come from the Furbo camera.

"I saw this red light on, and I thought 'OK, that's weird."
